Teachers are, fundamentally, storytellers. Each of us weave stories around our curriculum in order to engage others, to reveal truths to apply concepts and to cultivate curiosity . Collaboratively, this workshop will dive into developing and categorizing the universal elements of strong storytelling, so that our stories may be more effectively used as a vehicle for greater engagement and understanding in the classroom. Although this discussion will be led by a teacher of high school science, the results are intended for application in any classroom, of any discipline and at any grade level.
