The "How" of Heterogeneous Grouping in Secondary Mathematics

NCTM Principles to Action suggests that heterogeneous grouping in secondary mathematics is the way forward to ensure equity and best outcomes for all students, but many teachers wonder how we can make this work without working even harder than we already do. In this session we will examine excerpts from several published reports of schools that have successfully transitioned away from tracking, and discuss how and whether these models might work here in Lexington.
